The
Medway
Therapeutic
Alliance
We bring together trusted organisations to help you find the right mental health support.
What's New?
What is the Medway Therapeutic Alliance?
Led by North Kent Mind and funded by Medway Council, we bring together a range of organisations so families can access support through one clear pathway — without needing to navigate multiple services alone.
- One service connecting multiple providers
- Support matched to individual needs
- Clear and simple referral process
- Focused on children, young people and families
Child-Centred
We listen to children and young people and shape support around their needs and goals.
Inclusive
We recognise every child is different and provide flexible, accessible support.
Trauma-Informed
We work in ways that are safe, respectful and understanding of lived experiences.
Collaborative
We work with families, professionals and partners to provide joined-up support.

Are You in the Right Place?
The Team supports:
- Children and young people aged 5–18 (inclusive of their 19th birthday)
- Young people up to 25 who have SEND or are care leavers.
To access the service, the child or young person must:
- Live in Medway, or
- be under Medway Local Authority care
- be registered with a Medway GP
Children and young people do not need to be attending school to receive support.
